Canoe Camping along the Trinity River between Steel Bridge (near Douglas City)
and Junction City. After the Labor Day fires in that country there was some
debate about smoke problems for this trip.
Fortunately there was a short, sweet rain storm earlier in the week and
the smoke and fire stayed away. It
was a lovely weekend.
